we are members of the city of Rochester pipes and drum corps and can offer a full band to mini band of four people or just a solo player the choices are entirely upto our customers

How much does it cost to hire a Bagpiper?

Prices vary between event and location, but start from £150. Please contact me to discuss your booking so I can tailor a quote for you. 

How long does a bagpiper perform for?

A standard performance would be 10-20 minutes, but we can discuss the duration to suit your event. 

When can a bagpiper perform at a wedding?

I can play as your guests arrive, I can lead the bride down the aisle and I can play after the ceremony during the welcome drinks whilst pictures are being taken. I can also pipe the newlyweds into the venue to the top table. We can taylor the plan to suit your order of proceedings. 

Can a bagpiper perform indoors?

Yes absolutely, however, please be aware that the bagpipes are a very loud instrument with no volume controls! So consideration should be taken of children and people who are noise sensitive, as when in a confined space the noise level increases. 

What songs can a bagpiper play?

I play most of the commonly known tunes such as Highland Cathedral, Scotland the brave, flower of Scotland, Auld langs syne, Amaxing Grace and many more.

Do I need to provide changing facilities for a Bagpiper at my event?

I will arrive fully dressed in my Scottish piper attire and will not require changing facilities. Having parking available in close proximity to the event would be a big help with the transporting of equipment.
